Sutton’s first community farm launched in February 2010 to provide a shared growing space to grow fruit and vegetables on a large scale.
We hold activity days every Tuesday and Saturday from 10 – 2pm; all ages and levels of experience welcome! We’re all learning and sharing skills together. We also have regular picnics, bbqs and workshops on bird watching, bee keeping, mosaic making and other events so do get in touch if you’d like to get involved.
The farm is at the Woodcote smallholdings near Wallington / Carshalton Beeches – do get in touch if you would like to visit or get involved.
You can also get the latest news from the farm by following us on Twitter and joining our mailing list.
We sell delicious unsprayed farm produce on the Veg Van and will be launching a local veg box scheme in June 2011. We are a community farm linked with environmental charity BioRegional; any money we make will be reinvested in the farm to secure its long term future. We also hope to develop a Community Supported Agriculture Scheme to enable everyone to get free fruit and veg in return for helping at the farm and / or to buy a share of the farm’s produce. Drop us a line for further information.
